The college offers Higher Secondary courses in Arts and Commerce, BA/B.Com courses, and Self-Financing IT courses.
A. Higher Secondary Courses:
Higher secondary course shall consist of two parts: (a) H.S. 1st year and (b) H.S. 2nd year under the Assam Higher Secondary Education Council. A student who passes HSLC or equivalent Examination may apply for these courses, and admission is given on the basis of merit.
Students admitted to H.S.1st year shall have to opt for four optional elective subjects out of which one automatically becomes the fourth subject (additional) in which he/she secures least marks.

N.B: The Morning Shift in HS (Arts) First Year Class has been started from the current academic session 2020-2021 due to unprecedented demand of the students. However, the fresh admission in the Morning Shift may not be continued from the subsequent academic session.

B. UG-CBCS Courses: With the introduction of semester system at Degree Level from 2011 by Gauhati University, it has been in operation in the college. TDC courses are completed with six semesters as per the regulation of Gauhati University. All new admissions to Three Year Degree Courses (Arts & Commerce) are guided by Semester regulations of the university. Gauhati University has introduced CBCS (Choice Based Credit System) in 2018 with the existing semester system at UG (Under Graduate) level of courses.
Intake Capacity in BA Course : B.A.: 350 (EachSemester) in Day Shift B.A.: 350 (EachSemester) in Morning Shift.

Intake Capacity in B.Com Course: B.Com: 150 (Each Semester) Day Shift
Intake Capacity in Honours Course & Eligibility of the Students to get Admission in Honours Courses:
BA:50 seats (especially for the current academic session)in each subject with minimum 50% marks in concerned subjects in H.S. Final Examination.
B.Com:140 seats(especially for the current academic session) with minimum 50% in concerned subjects in H.S. Final Examination.
The college also offers Self-financing PGDCA course.
