The College Library was established along with the inception of the college in 1964. At the initial stage the royal family of Gauripur has contributed a lot in the process of growth by donating books and almirahs. Under the care and guidance of the college authority and the liberal grants of the UGC the college library has grown into a big source of knowledge not only for the students but also the teachers of the college as well.

In the year 2012, the P.B.College library glorified itself with the name of Alokesh Ch Barua, a versatile genius who served this institution in the status of professor of Philosophy and also the vice principal for few years.
