3. BRIEF HISTORY OF THE DEPARTMENT:
The department of Sanskrit is one of the departments among the departments of Pramathesh Barua College which had been established in 2004 run by Non-sanctioned teacher. It offers only pass course that means regular course because of not sufficient teaching faculty in this department.
4. MISSION:
The department of Sanskrit was set up with a mission to import higher education on Sanskrit literature from higher secondary level to Degree level in general while imparting higher education on Sanskrit literature. The department is at present running with a mission to develop moral aspect of the students. The department is going to open the Major course if the faculty is available in the department for the better improvement of the students. The department also gives due stress for all round development of the students in general so that the students can serve the country as well as the society in general and the college in particular.
5. GOAL AND OBJECTIVE:
The objective and goal of the particular department is to bring about improvement of the quality of students for feeling up personal, social and national also.
