PRAMATHESH BARUA COLLEGE
ABOUT THE DEPARTMENT:
The Department of Management at P. B. College, Gauripur, was established with the commerce stream in 1979, initially offering a higher secondary semi-commerce program. A degree course was introduced in the 1984-85 academic year, initially as a pass course. The stream was taken over under the government’s deficit grants-in-aid scheme starting from March 1, 1988. Although it began as a single stream, it was managed as a department with a Head of Department (HOD) until 2012. After that, it was divided into three distinct departments: Accountancy, Management, and Finance.
